This notice explains what personal information MSR DigitalAccess collects when you use this website, contact us or book training, why we need it, how long we keep it and the choices you have.

Who we are
MSR DigitalAccess provides accessibility consultancy and digital skills training. We are the data controller for the personal information described in this notice, which means we decide how and why it is used.

Information we collect
- Training booking form: your name, email address and chosen course or session, plus your phone number and message if you choose to include them.
- Accessibility enquiry form: your name, email address and the areas you would like help with, plus your organisation, phone number, website address, timescale and message if you choose to include them.
- Phone calls, emails and Facebook messages: the details you choose to share when you contact us.
- Training: the name and email address we use to send your Zoom joining details, your attendance and whether you have paid. We do not record training sessions. If we ever wish to, we will ask everyone first.
- Payments: if you pay online, Stripe processes your payment and tells us your name, email address, the amount paid and your booking reference. We never see or store your full card details.
- Adjustments: if you tell us about something that would help you take part, such as larger text or more time. This may include information about your health or a disability. We only use it to support you, and only with your agreement.
- Technical information: our hosting provider records your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to keep the website running securely.
We never need your passwords, verification codes, bank details or health records. Please do not send them to us, including during training.
How and why we use it
Data protection law requires a lawful basis for each use of personal information. The table below sets out ours.

We do not send marketing emails unless you have asked us to. We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.
Cookies and similar technologies
- Form security cookie (__Host-msr_booking): a strictly necessary cookie that protects the booking and enquiry forms against misuse and keeps your entries if something needs correcting. It is deleted when you close your browser.
- Dark mode preference: if you use the dark mode switch, your choice is saved in your browser so the site remembers it. It stays on your device and is never sent to us. You can remove it by clearing your browser’s site data.
We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. That is why this website does not show a cookie banner. If you follow our link to Facebook, Facebook’s own cookie policy applies. Stripe’s payment page sets its own cookies for security and fraud prevention, under Stripe’s cookie policy.
Who we share it with
We only share your information with organisations that help us provide our services, and only what they need:
- IONOS hosts this website and our email, and processes the information needed to deliver web pages and messages.
- Zoom provides our online training. When you join a session, Zoom processes your name, email address and connection details. Zoom is based in the United States and uses legally recognised safeguards for international transfers. Read the Zoom privacy statement.
- Stripe processes card payments for training. Stripe is certified to the highest level of the card industry’s security standard (PCI DSS Level 1). It may process data in the United States, using legally recognised safeguards for international transfers. Read the Stripe privacy policy.
- Meta (Facebook) processes your messages if you contact us through Facebook, under Meta’s privacy policy.
- Professional advisers or authorities, such as our accountant or HMRC, where we are legally required to share information.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not lead to a booking: up to 12 months after our last contact.
- Booking and training records: up to 2 years after your training ends, so we can arrange follow-up sessions.
- Payment and accounting records: 6 years, as required for tax purposes.
- Workplace AI interest list: until we have told you about the dates, or up to 12 months, whichever comes first. You can ask to be removed at any time.
- Information about adjustments: deleted when your training ends, unless you ask us to keep it for future sessions.
- Form security records: the booking and enquiry forms temporarily store a scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address with a timestamp to prevent repeated submissions. These records expire after 10 minutes and are deleted shortly afterwards. The forms also keep a count of how many messages were sent in the last hour (times only, with no personal information), to protect against floods of automated messages.
- Hosting logs: kept by IONOS for a limited period under its own policy.
Keeping your information secure
This website uses an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. Our booking and enquiry forms are protected against misuse, and access to enquiries is limited to the MSR DigitalAccess team. The forms email your details to us and do not store them in a website database. Card payments are handled entirely on Stripe’s secure payment page, not on this website.
No method of sending information over the internet is completely secure. Please share only what we need to help you.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the information we hold about you
- ask us to correct information that is wrong or incomplete
- ask us to delete your information
- ask us to limit how we use your information
- object to us using your information on the basis of legitimate interests
- ask us to transfer information you gave us to another organisation
- withdraw your consent at any time, where we rely on consent.

Our training is designed for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please contact us first so we can try to put things right.
